Prior to coming to Mission Pharmacal Company, Max Martin worked at Eckerd Drugs for twenty-seven years.  At Eckerd Drug he held several positions; Pharmacist, Pharmacy Area Manager, Pharmacy District Manager, Pharmacy Regional Operations Manager and Regional Store Operations Manager.  He was also Vice President of the Alcoholic Beverage Division in Louisiana.  He joined Mission Pharmacal Company in March 1997 as Professional Business Development Manager.  In January 1999, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Martin is active in the Louisiana and Texas Pharmacy Associations.  He has served on several committees in both associations.  He was on the Board of Director's with the Louisiana Retailer's Association from 1993-1996. Mission Pharmacal is a member of Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) in which he is currently a subcommittee chairperson on the Business Development Committee.
