| Research Interests:
My research interest primarily focuses in the field of inhalation protein and peptide drug delivery. I am currently investigating ways to improve absorption of drugs by non-invasive routes in laboratory animals. I am also exploring and understanding the mechanisms of peptide and protein drug transport in vitro in cell culture models. The other research areas in which I have worked and currently pursuing include, but are not limited to: protein formulation, pre-clinical pharmacokinetics, pulmonary toxicity studies, respiratory mucociliary clearance studies; colonic drug delivery, and microencapsulation. |
