Teaching Activities

Medicinal Chemistry I (Phar 407) - The biochemical basis of drug action. A molecular biology approach with pharmaceutical orientation will be stressed. Special emphasis will be placed on structure of biomolecules, biochemical catalysis (enzyme structures, kinetics, and the basic biochemical processes associated with biotechnology.)

Chemotherapeutic Agents (Phar 418) - A study of the chemistry, therapeutic classification, mechanisms of action, toxicity and spectra of agents currently used in the therapy of infectious and neoplastic diseases.
